Soumabrata Dutta
STV
Soumabrata Dutta is an Associate and Structural Engineer IV with STV's Northeast Transportation Division in New York City, where he leads structural design teams on major transportation and infrastructure projects. Over the past eight years, he has played key roles on projects including the Van Wyck Expressway Contract 3 Design-Build, the Gateway Program, and Newark Penn Station Rehabilitation, earning recognition as a rising leader in the profession. He holds degrees in Civil and Structural Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur and the University of California, San Diego, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina. An active leader within ASCE and the Structural Engineering Institute, Soumabrata is passionate about mentoring young engineers and advancing sustainable, resilient infrastructure.
