Kun (David) Li, PhD, P.E.

Dr. Kun Li is a Vice President and Technical Fellow in WSP’s Geotechnical and Tunneling Group with more than 20 years of experience in geotechnical, earthquake, and foundation engineering. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in six states and Washington, D.C., and earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Clemson University. A Board-Certified Geotechnical Engineer and ASCE Fellow, Dr. Li has led complex infrastructure projects for public and private clients across numerous industries. He is also an active leader in the engineering community, serving on several ASCE committees and contributing extensively through publications, presentations, and professional organizations.
